Influent & Effluent Sampling

Why is Influent & Effluent Sampling so Important 

The primary use of an effluent sampling is to evaluate treatment system performance in order to verify compliance with specific discharge limits, or to compare the performance of individual systems. Large municipal treatment plants sample directly from an effluent channel which will give an indication. Anua Environmental will determine if an influent sample is required for the treatment plant. Samples will be sent to the laboratory and will be tested. A sample result with data will be presented to the client. Anua Environmental will advise client if results are within specified parameters.
